i've been reading two books simultaneously and comparing the minute differences for as long as i can remember…
sometimes i think that i actually like what is lost and changed more than the books themselves, or rather, i at least like the game of reading things in translation. the relationship between the original and the translation is always more engaging than either alone…

you sound like you'd like to be a translator…
